Relief From Prescription Expenses for Medicare Recipients

The federal government has mailed the second batch of A$250 checks to Medicare recipients.  The target group are those whose prescription drugs expenses were high enough to thrust them into the Part D “doughnut hole.”   To better understand the gap in coverage, check out this recent article.

If you qualify for this one-time tax free rebate, the check was mailed this week to your usual address.  You can check the HealthCare.gov web site or call 1-800-633-4227.
